The Department of Computer Engineering, in association with COMPESA, organized an expert lecture on 6th February 2026, from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The topic of the lecture was “Advanced Tools in Machine Learning,” delivered by Dr. Deepak S. Uplaonkar.

The program began with the felicitation of the expert by the Head of the Department, Dr. S. A. Lakade. This was followed by a welcome speech and introduction of the guest by Mrs. P. D. Patil.

The session was then handed over to Dr. Uplaonkar, who began with an interactive discussion with the students. He engaged with third-year students, sharing knowledge about modern technologies and tools used in machine learning. The session was informative and helped students gain insights into the latest advancements in the field.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. S. K. Sutar. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of the Computer Engineering Department were present and actively supported the successful conduct of the session.
